# Sequencer integrations

> Choose a connected sequencer, inspect its live contract, and activate only reviewed outbound work.

[Human guide: work with your agent →](https://deepline.com/docs/human/features/email-sequencer-integration.md)

> [!NOTE]
>
> Inspect the sequencer contract and validate a reviewed activation request
> before applying it.

Use a sequencer integration after you have reviewed the people, campaign, and
message you intend to send. Deepline can read and write supported sequencer
resources. It does not decide who may be contacted or activate a campaign on
your behalf.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Adding a lead, changing a sequence, and activating a campaign can create
> external side effects. Resolve the campaign first, pilot a small approved
> batch, inspect the provider response, then activate only with explicit
> approval.

## Choose the sequencer you already use

The current integration catalog lists these sequencers. Each card opens its
provider guide, which is generated from the live catalog or maintained beside
the provider contract.

## Choose by workflow

| Need | Start with |
| - | - |
| Email campaign lifecycle and lead batches | [Instantly](https://deepline.com/docs/providers/instantly/guide.md) or [Smartlead](https://deepline.com/docs/providers/smartlead/guide) |
| Email plus LinkedIn touches | [Lemlist](https://deepline.com/docs/providers/lemlist/guide.md) |
| LinkedIn campaign activation | [HeyReach](https://deepline.com/docs/providers/heyreach/guide.md) |
| Sales-engagement, calls, tasks, and sequence operations | [Nooks](https://deepline.com/docs/providers/nooks/guide.md), [Outreach](https://deepline.com/docs/providers/outreach/guide.md), or [Salesloft](https://deepline.com/docs/providers/salesloft/guide.md) |
| Prospecting plus CRM and sequencer work in one provider | [Amplemarket](https://deepline.com/docs/providers/amplemarket/guide.md) |
| Sender, reply, lead-state, and warmup operations | [EmailBison](https://deepline.com/docs/providers/emailbison/guide.md) or [Salesforge](https://deepline.com/docs/providers/salesforge/guide.md) |

Each provider has its own current contract. Search and inspect the exact action
before you build a write step:

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline search --type tools "Instantly campaign"
deepline describe instantly_list_campaigns
deepline tools execute instantly_list_campaigns --payload '{}'
```

Use the returned campaign ID and the displayed schema for later writes. Do not
guess a provider field from another sequencer's API.

## A safe activation pattern

1. List or read the existing campaign. Confirm its ID, owner, schedule, and
   sending state.
2. Build a small approved lead batch. Keep the source, qualification result,
   and intended campaign visible to the reviewer.
3. Add the batch and inspect the returned accepted and failed rows. When your
   workflow requires deduplication, explicitly read the relevant existing leads
   or provider lookup first. Deepline does not promise cross-campaign or
   cross-provider deduplication.
4. Review the sequence and schedule in the provider. Activate only after that
   review.
5. Read campaign stats after a controlled send. Treat the provider's results as
   the source of truth for delivery and engagement.

## Instantly

Use Instantly for a compact email-campaign loop: list or create a campaign, add
or update leads, control campaign state, then review stats. Deepline supports
campaign reads, creation, duplication, activation and pausing, lead listing and
patching, and campaign metrics.

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline tools execute instantly_list_campaigns --payload '{}'
deepline tools execute instantly_add_to_campaign --payload '{
  "campaign_id": "campaign-123",
  "leads": [
    {
      "email": "ada@example.com",
      "first_name": "Ada",
      "last_name": "Lovelace",
      "company_name": "Babbage Ltd"
    }
  ]
}'
deepline tools execute instantly_get_campaign_stats --payload '{"campaign_id":"campaign-123"}'
```

Before creating a campaign, read an existing campaign with
`instantly_get_campaign` and reuse a provider-supported timezone and schedule
shape. Keep activation behind your enrichment and review gate.

Recommended prompt:

```text theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
/deepline-gtm List my Instantly campaigns and identify the one named Q1 Outbound.
Show its schedule and state. Add only these five reviewed leads, report accepted
and failed rows, and do not activate the campaign.
```

## Lemlist

Use Lemlist when the sequence itself is part of the workflow. Deepline supports
campaign creation and updates. sequence-step reads, adds, updates, and deletes.
lead insertion and state changes. activity and inbox reads. messages. webhooks.
and unsubscribe operations.

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline tools execute lemlist_list_campaigns --payload '{}'
deepline tools execute lemlist_get_campaign_sequences --payload '{"campaign_id":"cam_abc123"}'
deepline tools execute lemlist_add_to_campaign --payload '{
  "campaign_id": "cam_abc123",
  "contacts": [
    {"email":"ada@example.com","first_name":"Ada","last_name":"Lovelace"}
  ]
}'
```

Sequence delays are in days. Campaign create and update responses include a
`web_url`. Use it to review the sequence in Lemlist before starting it. A
duplicate conflict returned by Lemlist is an outcome to inspect, not proof that
every prior campaign is deduplicated.

Recommended prompt:

```text theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
/deepline-gtm Inspect the sequence and campaign state for Lemlist campaign
Enterprise Q1. Add this approved batch, show any duplicate or failed rows, and
return the Lemlist review URL. Do not start or change the campaign.
```

## HeyReach

Use HeyReach for LinkedIn activation into a campaign that already exists. Its
public API integration intentionally stays narrow: list campaigns, add contacts,
and read campaign stats. Create the campaign in HeyReach first.

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline tools execute heyreach_list_campaigns --payload '{}'
deepline tools execute heyreach_add_to_campaign --payload '{
  "campaign_id": "12345",
  "contacts": [
    {
      "linkedin_url": "https://www.linkedin.com/in/ada-lovelace",
      "first_name": "Ada",
      "last_name": "Lovelace",
      "email": "ada@example.com"
    }
  ]
}'
deepline tools execute heyreach_get_campaign_stats --payload '{"campaign_id":"12345"}'
```

Recommended prompt:

```text theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
/deepline-gtm List my HeyReach campaigns. Add these reviewed LinkedIn profiles
to the selected existing campaign in a small batch, report the provider result,
and do not try to create or start a campaign.
```

## Smartlead

Use Smartlead when you need programmatic control beyond a lead push. Deepline
supports campaign creation and state, schedules and settings, sequences, lead
management, campaign analytics, email accounts and warmup, webhooks, block
lists, domains, delivery diagnostics, and client controls.

The normal order is: create or select a campaign, attach email accounts,
configure sequences and a schedule, push an approved batch, then explicitly
set campaign state. The current `smartlead_push_to_campaign` contract accepts up
to 400 entries in `lead_list`. begin with a much smaller supervised pilot.

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline tools execute smartlead_list_campaigns --payload '{}'
deepline tools execute smartlead_fetch_campaign_sequences --payload '{"campaign_id":12345678}'
deepline tools execute smartlead_push_to_campaign --payload '{
  "campaign_id": 12345678,
  "lead_list": [
    {"email":"ada@example.com","first_name":"Ada","last_name":"Lovelace"}
  ]
}'
deepline tools execute smartlead_get_campaign_stats --payload '{"campaign_id":12345678}'
```

`smartlead_update_campaign_status` is the explicit state-change action. valid
values include `PAUSED`, `STOPPED`, and `START`. Use a valid IANA timezone and
24-hour times when you set a schedule. Date-range analytics are limited by the
live action contract, so inspect it before requesting a report.

Recommended prompt:

```text theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
/deepline-gtm Inspect Smartlead campaign Series A Founders: its sequence,
schedule, sender accounts, and current state. Add only these ten approved leads,
return accepted and failed rows plus current stats, and do not start the campaign.
```

## Find the live contract when a workflow changes

Provider APIs change. Use the current contract before adding an action you have
not used before:

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline describe smartlead_save_campaign_sequences
deepline describe lemlist_add_sequence_step
deepline describe instantly_activate_campaign
```

For email discovery before activation, use [Email waterfall](https://deepline.com/docs/plays/email-waterfall.md).
For Smartlead connection and provider-specific schemas, see the
[Smartlead provider guide](https://deepline.com/docs/providers/smartlead/guide).

## Verify this task

Check destination account, campaign or list identity, suppression, and the exact action schema. Verify the resulting destination state.

Ask your agent to explain a failed check before repeating work or expanding the scope.
